| 1993 | Site at the freight depot in Lauter put into operation, and company rebranded as "metarec Metallrecycling GmbH" Acquisition of grounds with freight depot in Lauter; ongoing expansion and conversion of grounds, site, hall, and office buildings |
| 2000 | Specialized chipping facility and warehouse built |
| 2002 | Zwickau branch opened in a former Keramo site |
| 2004 | Additional warehouse built, and additional surfaces paved; third oil separator also installed |

| 2011 | Remaining surfaces paved Acquisition of former copper foundry in Zwickau Start of demolition and reconstruction work at the Zwickau site |

| 2015 | Currently employs 21 people including 2 apprentices. In the summer of 2015, we are already 25 years active in the service of the environment and for our customers. |
| 2017 | At present 22 people are employed. In the office we have a trainee as a wholesale merchant. Further apprenticeship places as specialist for warehouse logistics are to be filled. |
| 2018 | In Lauter we amplified our team with a trainee. In Zwickau we have hired another warehouse specialist. |
| 2019 | In Lauter we have completed to concrete the storage area. New storage boxes with partition walls made of concrete blocks were created. The fourth oil separator was put into operation. |
| 2020 | Anniversary year !!! We have serving the environment and our customers for 30 years. |
